Canadice is one of the most recommended varieties for the Northwest.
I recommend following Lon Rombaugh's planting, pruning, and training guide. He also recommeds pruning Canadice to two-bud spurs - that's something to do year three.
If you plant the right variety in the right spot, grapes are productive, low maintenance, and delicious. Below I've included some notes and pictures of my own Canadice vines.
